Teakwood Learning Center
Accessibility
Teakwood Learning Center wants every family to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons are checked for color contrast, and the layout adapts to phones and zoom.
- Images have text descriptions. The background video is silent, carries no information and stops moving if your device is set to reduce motion. Other animations are turned off by the same setting.
- Form fields have labels, and form messages are announced to screen readers.
- The site is tested with automated accessibility tools as it changes.
Known limitations
Some content comes from third parties, such as maps opened through “Get directions”, and is outside our control. We keep reviewing the site and fix problems as we find them.
